WhatsApp Terms

A separate connection, a clear choice, and no surprises about whether you’re connected.

Awaiting operator review

This page previews Flashy’s legal-document experience. It is not a finalized agreement or policy. Operator identity, contact details, and effective terms still need approval.

1. Connecting WhatsApp

Where WhatsApp is available, Flashy shows a one-time connection message for your workspace. Your account is connected only after you send that message from WhatsApp. Opening the setup dialog alone does not connect or message your account.

2. Separate from sign-in

SMS phone verification is used to access Flashy. It is not a WhatsApp pairing code and does not authorize WhatsApp messages. A WhatsApp account is linked separately through its one-time connection message.

3. Messages you request

Connecting allows Flashy to answer messages you send and to process tasks you request. Flashy does not use the connection for marketing. Longer work may be stored until you send a follow-up. If an approved service template is enabled, Flashy may use it only to tell you that requested work is ready.

4. Conversation data

Flashy stores your account link, connection and consent times, conversation history, delivery identifiers, and task results so the same workspace can continue the conversation. Messaging services process messages needed to deliver the feature. Flashy does not expose credentials or private workspace data to another connected account.

5. Disconnect anytime

You can disconnect WhatsApp from your Flashy workspace at any time. Disconnecting stops new WhatsApp messages from entering that workspace and preserves prior link history for security and auditing. You can reconnect later with a new one-time code.

6. Supported messages

Flashy supports WhatsApp text, replies, reactions, and outbound task images. When an inbound attachment cannot be read, Flashy will say so rather than infer its contents. WhatsApp availability and delivery remain subject to the messaging service and your network connection. Effective September 14, 2026.
